After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in biology on the same campus, Dr. Mary Applegate got her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1990. She has practiced at Park Centre Animal Hospital since 1994 and feels a close connection with her many long-term clients and patients. She has two dogs: Piper, an Australian Shepherd mix, and Posey, who is probably a cattle dog mix, and a Burmese cat named Dexter. Dr. Applegate enjoys hiking with her dogs and traveling.
